Testimony:  HEALED OF CANCER - 2-2-2009 - Tarshareka (Tarsha) Gray is married with two children. She was diagnosed with cancer of the uterus on August 24, 2007. Tarsha and her family were not saved. She was invited to Victory Christian Ministries International by a member of Victory and decided to visit the next Sunday. After hearing a powerful teaching by Pastor Tony, The Holy Spirit led her to become a member that very same Sunday. Tarsha was ministered to by one of the deacons who learned of the diagnosis of cancer. Deacon Marguerite Watson is a 15 year cancer survivor and is over the V. Thompson, Victorious Warriors Ministry, within the Changing Lives Ministry, which ministers and counsels those who have been diagnosed with cancer. Deacon Marguerite prayed with Tarsha and shared her own testimony. She gave Tarsha healing scriptures, counseled and encouraged her to meditate on God's word, to daily declare God's Word on healing, to speak life and not death, to change her lifestyle and eat healthy. The members of Victorious Warriors stayed in constant contact with her family, prayed with her and encouraged her not to give up hope and to trust in God for her victory. Tarsha had exploratory surgery on October 9, 2007 at Georgetown hospital and Deacon Marguerite was there to support her and her family. After surgery, the doctor met with her husband and mother and gave them the prognosis. Cancer had spread from her uterus to her bladder and it was stage 4, which was not good news. Deacon Marguerite ministered to her family and assured them that God had the last say so. She also asked the question, whose report will you believe? Isaiah 53:1. Tarsha had a series of radiation treatments and later chemotherapy as a precautionary measure and the doctors have now confirmed that she is CANCER FREE!!! As a result of this journey, Tarsha's whole family received Christ as Lord. Her husband joined Victory one week after she did and her mother and friend joined a month later. Then during the Church fast in January of 2008, her two children joined Victory. Tarsha gives God all honor, praise and glory! These are the steps that led to her victory: She sought the Lord and made Him her total source and resource. She gave her life to Christ. She sought the prayer of her heavenly Father. She sought the prayers of the church (Pastors Tony and Cynthia Brazelton prayed for her in January 2008 during the church fast). She sought the prayers of the Deacon Board and Victorious Warriors. She read, meditated and declared the Word of God - Joshua 1:8. Not once did she allow fear to invade her mind, but stood on the Word of God and declared that, God didn't give her the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind, that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, that she is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loves her and If God be for her, who in the world can be against her. Tarsha wants the world to know that God's word is life and it's alive -- if God said it, she believes it and that settles it! She leaves these words with you: Don't give up! Don't give out! I was serving as a therapist, counseling homeless women going through depression, anxiety and the like. My supervisor asked me to participate in a training that would prepare me to counsel women using a way of thinking called 'Mindfulness' that would help them to cope. The Lord gave me the discernment to look deeper and after finding out that the new age philosophy and meditation was based on Buddhism and witchcraft, I made a decision. I explained to my employer that I would not be able to join in on this training as it is against my religious beliefs. After being warned that I would be released, I was terminated two weeks later after being celebrated for 10 years of service and excellent evaluations. Pastor had just preached on Matthew 6:33-34 about not holding onto your possessions (wallet, lunch bag, purse), but looking to God first. The week I was fired he preached on being a Jesus fanatic which resonated in my soul confirming my conviction and addiction to please God. There we were with a new house and new car, but I knew that God is rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I knew that blessed are those who suffer for righteousness. I knew that He would not suffer the righteous to be moved. I knew He would supply all of our need according to His riches in glory. During my time of waiting, I was confessing word, hearing myself speak it on tape, praising God various ways, protecting my ear and eye gate so as not to allow a seed of fear to enter in allowing the joy of the Lord to be my strength. I also sowed additional seed by volunteering at the church. Elder Bob reminded me that God would give me the desire of my heart prior to an interview. After continuing to delight myself in the Lord, and refusing positions that would keep me from hearing word, I received that very dream position that allows me to work no evenings or weekends, flex my hours, and even work from home along with a host of other benefits. Just received a raise after only 3 months. I was told that I was the last person to be hired just before the hiring freeze. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Name:  Olivia  Vest Testimony:  PRAYER AND FASTING WORKS!!!!!!!!! When Pastor Cynthia started teaching on the parable of the lost son, she was speaking to me. For over 40 years, I have not been happy, had many thoughts of suicide. Always told I was a nobody, I was stupid, could do anything, and would never amount to anything. I was previous diagnosed with server depression and was on medication. During the anniversary, i had a panic attack and the elders, ministers and some of the people from the dance ministry prayed for me. I spent several days resting and focused on the word. Watching VCMI DVDs, along with other DVDs and finally started to see how to uproot those deeply rooted lies. GOD IS SO GOOD!!! For the first time I really felt loved. All the ?YOU CAN?T, YOU ALWAYS, YOU SHOULDN?T was finally turning into I CAN, and I AM. During that time I had just learned via the internet, yes I said via the internet, that I was losing my job. I was not happy at my job because they were asking me to do things that were not pleasing and totally against GOD, and I refuse to do them. They even interviewed my replacement in from of me. Then I found out that I would have to train my replacement. It was Monday, November 3rd, I had just found out about the train, and was on my way home and God asked me ?Do you love me more than anything?? I replied YES ?Do you really love me more than anything? ?YES LORD, I LOVE OYU MORE THAN ANYTHING? ?Well, when they ask you to train this new girl, I want you to train her with the love you have for me. I want you to train her as if you were train Jesus Christ himself. On Wednesday, November 5th first day of training my replacement, I took one look at her and got sick to my stomach. I had to leave the room. I told God I could not do. I could not. He quickly reminded me that I could do all things through Christ who strengthens me. That he would never leave, that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I wiped my tears, and returned for the training, and gave her the BEST TRAININGI could in JESUS name. I even created a manual with step by step instructions so that anyone could follow and do the job. All my co-workers said I was a better person than they were that they wouldn?t train anybody. Hey, IT?s The GOD in ME!!!! I told them I had to do what GOD told me to do. Of course I got the ?God didn?t tell you to be no fool speech.? Yea whatever, I know my GOD, and I will obey. Well, November 7th was my last day, and while it was hard on my flesh, my spirit was full. They even gave me a going away party, gifts, and told me after all they did, as wrong as they were, they were proud of me for the way I handled things. They would not have done it. Again, IT?s the GOD in me!! I vowed that day, that I would be at VCMI on Tuesday, with a tooth brush in hand, and go where no man would dare to travel, and if I had to clean those bathroom toilets at the bottom I would. They next day, I was at the church to volunteer. I was determined to volunteer, until God gave me my new assignment. I was at the church with my toothbrush was pointed in the direction of Bruce and I told him what I wanted to do. When I told him about that bathroom and the toothbrush, he asked if I was serious. I told him yes, and showed him the toothbrush. So he led me to the stalls and on my knees I went hugging ever toilet, and scrubbing around the bottom. Getting all the gook and grind I could see. While I was on my knees, I was praying constantly. Asking GOD for guidance. I told God I would like to be working by Thanksgiving, but willing to wait for his time. During the fast I was called in for an interview and I knew this assignment was mine. Well, I received my offer letter, and do you know it was dated that last day of the fast? PRAISE GOD!!!!! My offer letter said ?congratulations on your new appointment..? my appointment. I received my first check and cannot wait to get to church on Sunday and give my first fruit. I have gone from wanting to die to wanting to live. TO LIVE FOR CHRIST even more. I just rededicated my life again, I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior again. NOTHING!! NOTHING will stop me from giving that first fruit. I will praise GOD in a cold, dark room with nothing to eat before I let my flesh keep this money. I have wanted to do this for the past three months, and it is here. It is finally here. PRAYER AND FASTING WORKS!!!! Now, I am believing for full marriage restoration, debt freedom, and for my children to be kept safe. There is so much more and I can?t wait to give you another testimony. Name:  Andrea  Nottingham Testimony:  BREATHING RESTORED: I thank VCMI for praying for my mother. From August, 2008 to the end of January, 2009 my mother has been in the hospital/nursing home. In August after her surgery, she was on total life support, she was not breathing on her own. The prayers of the righteous availeth much and brought her back from death doors. From the time of her surgery she lost her ability to walk, and do personal things for herself as well as lost of appetite. The doctors released my mother to come home the latter part of January, 2009. Since being home, my mother is now walking back and forward to the bathroom, getting in and out of bed on her own, walking up and down the stairs with assistant and her appetite has been restored. All Glory to God for the things He has done for us. Remember 2009 is our time to shine, with the manifested glory of God. Continue to look for miracles, signs, wonders and creative miracles in your life. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Peace. God has put on my heart to do 2 projects. One a booklet entitled Wounds That Heal, geared towards helping women that have been sexually abused, and a screenplay entitled Finding The Right Man. In finalizing this projects, I haven't known what to do next. And your program really blessed me. I've just been waiting on the Lord, and watching your program. And towards the end Pastor Tony, you mentioned to ask God What Next. Simple, but what a blessing. In working on these projects, I will always ask God What's Next.
